Actor's headshots can be anxiety-inducing for many actors. As an actor myself, I've been there. It can feel like so much pressure. I remember when I was in high school in West Plains, MO we drove up to Springfield, MO to get professional headshots at a studio...I never in a million years thought a couple decades later, I'd be the photographer taking headshots of another young up-and-coming actor in Springfield, MO. Life is crazy sometimes! I loved working with Harley. We had a lot of fun capturing and packing a lot of looks and backgrounds into what was a 2 look session. Since we ended up shooting down on C-Street instead of one at my studio and one urban look outside, we got to take advantage of a lot more backdrops that C-Street has to offer. It was a perfect overcast day, not too sunny, not too dark or shadowy... juuuuust right in that sweet spot. Harley dreams of being in a Marvel movie someday. I can definitely see that in her future, can't you? Loved this fun shoot. Hope you enjoy it too! If you are in need of actors headshots, don't hesitate to reach out! Happy to give you any advice for pursuing acting in New York or LA too from my years in both cities. Any help I can offer young actors moving to those cities, I'm happy to give. There are a lot of people trying to take advantage of young actors in the city, and the more you can get plugged into a community of people in the business, the better off you'll be.
