Oh, hey! I’m Andie Mae, the creative behind Designing Indie — a multidisciplinary photographer, illustrator, graphic designer, and project manager based in The Hague, Netherlands. I photograph everything from seniors, headshots, engagements, weddings, families, musicians, museums, events, products, and travel, always focusing on storytelling, collaboration, and intentional visuals. I live with my wife Xena, our daughter Matilda, and our dog Roxie.  I love blending creativity with organization to bring ideas to life.

​Originally from the US, I am in the process of learning Dutch and look forward to one day being able to serve clients in both languages.

I offer graphic design services for print and digital projects including banners and posters, postcards, newsletters and eBooks, print ads, and custom graphics.

With a background in illustration, photography, and project management, I design with both creativity and structure in mind. I focus on thoughtful layout, strong visual storytelling, and designs that work in the real world.

As a freelance Project Manager, I bring organization, communication, and leadership to projects of all sizes. I use PMP-aligned best practices—earned through a decade of real-world delivery. I work with clients across all industries, but most commonly have helped those in Creative Fields, Healthcare, Finance, and Marketing Agency verticals. ​

Pricing + Booking

Pricing varies depending on the amount of work and time each individual project will take to complete, but to give you an idea of how much each of these services typically costs, I've included general average pricing below and what that usually includes.

Photography (*all rates include professional editing and all photos delivered digitally)
  • Editorial Portrait Shoots (Senior Portraits, Headshots, Promotional Shots) - Starting at €150 (including VAT) for 1 look, €300 for 2 looks 
  • Family Portraits - €250+ (including VAT) for up to 2 locations + includes individual + couples portraits as well 
  • Engagement Shoots - €250 (including VAT) for up to 2 locations
  • Weddings - Varies depending on package & hours but typically ranges from €750-€2,000 (including VAT)
  • Events -  €150 per hour (including VAT) of coverage

Illustration + Graphic Design
  • Varies widely based on a number of factors, please reach out with details for your project and I'll get you a custom quote!​
