If there’s one thing I love, it’s a senior session that feels completely unique to the person in front of the camera. Ebbie’s session was exactly that.

From flowers and gazebos to neon lights and electric bass guitar, this shoot had raaaange. It was creative, personal, stylish, and full of details that reflected who she is right now as she prepares to enter her senior year.

​Look One: Flowers, Books, and an Upright Bass

We started the evening at Nathanael Greene/Close Memorial Park at 7:30pm.

The first look felt romantic, artistic, and timeless.

Surrounded by flowers, pathways, and gazebos, Ebbie incorporated some of her favorite things into the session:

• Her upright bass
• Soft, natural settings

I always encourage seniors to bring meaningful props if they want to. Whether it's an instrument, sports equipment, books, artwork, or something else entirely, those details help tell a story.

And Ebbie's story came through beautifully.

​Look Two: Downtown Springfield After Dark

After sunset, we completely changed the mood.

We headed downtown to explore alleyways, neon signs, city lights, and some iconic Springfield landmarks.

The second look featured Ebbie's electric bass and felt much more editorial and energetic.
The contrast between the two locations is one of my favorite things about this gallery.

Within a single session we created:

It felt like two completely different photoshoots in the best possible way.

Shoutout to the Parents

One thing I absolutely loved about this session?

Ebbie's parents came along and helped transport all of the props between locations.

As a photographer, I always appreciate supportive parents who help make creative ideas happen. It takes a team sometimes, and Ebbie's family was all in.
